Day Six
“This is written that you may know”. Christianity is more than a set of beliefs - it is something that can be known and felt. We can know without a doubt that we have a personal relationship with Jesus. And we can have confidence to approach God’s throne when we know Christ!

Day Five
God’s love was shown in the gift of His Son to be a sacrifice for our sins. When we look at the cross, we catch a glimpse into God’s heart of love. Christ did not die to make God love people. He died because God had loved people always. Our salvation does not depend on who we are, but on who God is… and God is love!

Day Four
The word “love” occurs over 48 times in John’s letter! Love is the supreme test of our Christian faith. We show our love for Him by loving each other. Those who have love in their hearts have fellowship - which means closeness and friendship - with God.

Day Three

Day Two
A disciple is someone who is learning how to love Jesus, love others, and live on mission by hearing and obeying God. When we grow as a disciple, we’ll begin to understand God’s calling and His will for our lives that much better. In Chapter 2, the Apostle John reminds us of some foundational principles for every disciple of Jesus, young or old.

Day One
Unlike the other apostles, John does not address this letter to any church or any particular person. He writes to all Christians, old and young. God’s presence throws light on our conscience and heart. Light shows us how we can grow and change to look more like Him!
